1. Term: Competition runs from 8.00am Friday 19 April 2024 to midnight Friday 31 May 2024.
2. Prize: The prize(s) for the Competition are not transferable or redeemable for cash and all components of the prizes must be taken together. The Prize winner is responsible for arranging and paying for all additional costs that are not explicitly stated by DairySmart at the time of entry. DairySmart may replace the prize with another prize of equivalent or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside DairySmart’s reasonable control.
DairySmart makes no warranties about the prize (including as to its quality or fitness for purpose).
3. How to enter: If you do not follow the entry instructions specified by the DairySmart and otherwise comply with these Terms, you may be disqualified. Incomplete entries may not be accepted. Generally, entries may not be modified after submission.
4. Who may enter: To enter you must be a New Zealand resident 18 years of age or older; and a dairy farm owner, herd owner, share milker or contract milker.
5. Eligibility: By submitting an entry, the entrant consents to being contacted by a DairySmart representative to confirm eligibility.
6. Number of entries: Each eligible entrant will be awarded 1 entry into the prize draw. If an eligible entrant books a DairySmart “Smart Screen” herd diagnostic test they will receive an additional 5 entries into the prize draw.
7. Ineligibility: Employees of DairySmart and DairySmart related companies and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
8. Prize Draw: The Prize draw will take place on Monday 3 June 2024 under supervision.
Winners will be notified directly and announced via the DairySmart Facebook page. If DairySmart is unable to contact the winner by 5.00 pm Monday 10 June 2024 or the winner is otherwise unable to accept the prize the winner will forfeit and a new winner will be drawn. The prize winner will obtain their Prize from their local DairySmart representative. The draw is final, and is non-transferable for cash.
9. Entries: All entries become and remain the property of DairySmart and will be held and used in accordance with our legal obligations, including under the Privacy Act 2020. Upon entry into this competition, DairySmart will collect personal information about you so that you can participate in the competition. DairySmart may from time to time communicate with you using this entry information. In addition, by entering the Competition, you agree that DairySmart may use your name, photograph for promotional purposes without compensation.
10. Winner: The Winner accepts the Prize at their own risk. To the full extent permitted by law neither DairySmart Ltd, and/or any of their employees, contractors and agents or employees of their contractors and agents, and companies providing Prizes for the Competition, will be held liable for any liability/loss/damage/expense/death/personal injury suffered or incurred or any dispute (including, but not limited to, direct/indirect/consequential loss) arising out of, or in connection with, this competition, the provision of Prizes, use or participation in such Prizes or promotion of this competition.
11. Facebook: Where the Competition is run via Facebook, the Competition is not associated with Facebook, Facebook has no liability in connection with the Competition, and any information you provide in connection with the Competition is provided to DairySmart, not to Facebook.
12. General: By entering this Competition, each Entrant acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of entry. DairySmart’s decisions regarding the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. If DairySmart cannot reasonably run the Competition as planned for any reason, DairySmart may cancel this Competition.
