Know what's really going on in your herd
A herd test gives you a health check on every cow in the herd. Individual SCC results help you find cows that may have an udder health problem — including cows that look completely normal in the shed. This gives you a chance to investigate problems before they turn into clinical mastitis or start costing production.

Do I have to sign up to anything ongoing?
No. Book a test when you need one — no scheme, no enrolment.
Does a high SCC result tell me what's causing it?
No — SCC tells you there's inflammation, not the cause. A high-SCC cow may have a mastitis-causing pathogen, but you need to culture the milk to find out what pathogen (if any) is actually driving the elevated SCC or mastitis.
What do I do if a result comes back high?
That's where culture testing comes in. Test 20 high-SCC cows for $299.99+GST. Testing more than 20? Get your local DairySmart rep to help — at no additional cost.
What do I get back?
SCC and fat + protein results per sample within 48 hours. With the further option to have your highest SCC animals cultured to identify any subclinical infection early, keeping more milk in the vat.
